TAPS Board to Meet Friday Afternoon in Sherman

In my TAPS update last week, I shared with you that the board of directors first became aware of significant financial and managerial shortcomings at the September 16 board meeting, and has been identifying additional issues of mismanagement and misleading communications in the weeks since then. I shared with you that at the conclusion of the September 16 board meeting, the TAPS board unanimously accepted the resignation of the executive director.

Commissioners Court Responds to Collin County Mayors

Last week, I wrote about a discussion on our agenda pertaining to a letter written to the commissioners court, signed by the mayors of thirteen Collin County cities, appealing to the court to develop “processes and procedures that will allow for city issuance of permits within their respective ETJs” (extra-territorial jurisdictions).
