News . COVID-19 Updates

CORRECTION: Yesterday, officials from the City of Frisco informed Collin County officials that – after further consideration – the City of Frisco will NOT be using the Collin County Vaccine Wait List to schedule vaccine appointments. Frisco officials have elected to develop their own vaccine registration process to distribute the 7800 vaccine doses provided to the city by DSHS. We apologize for this change and any confusion or frustration that occurs as a result. The public may sign up for the City of Frisco registration list at https://www.friscotexas.gov/1704/vaccine-information.

Collin County Health Care Services (CCHCS) received 9,750 vaccine doses from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) for the week of February 1, and CCHCS is scheduling vaccine appointments for individuals registered on the Collin County Vaccine Wait List. The City of McKinney is also scheduling vaccine appointments from the Wait List, using 7,800 vaccine doses received from DSHS for this week.

Texas Health Resources (THR) has also provided 3,300 vaccine appointments to individuals from the Collin County Vaccine Wait List.

CCHCS and its partners are currently contacting individuals with wait list numbers up to #29565 to schedule vaccine appointments. As of this morning, there were more than 241,000 individuals on the Wait List.
