These are the ridiculous pronouncements of today’s Democratic Party. Across the country, liberal Democrats are pushing their radical social agenda on our most important institutions: our families, businesses, churches, schools, and communities. Make no mistake, Beto O’Rourke and his allies want to bring their liberal D.C. values to Texas, and he thinks he can win Collin County. My Democrat opponent is desperately trying to help Beto turn our county blue. Week after week, he boasts about his commitment to growing the size of government, increasing government regulations, and increasing government spending.

During my first campaign, I pledged that I would pursue limited government, low taxes, and excellence in every aspect of county government. I kept my promises and stood strong as a consistently courageous champion for private property rights, limited regulation, low property taxes, and government transparency.

In 2020, while other elected officials were busy enforcing lockdowns and making arbitrary lists of essential and non-essential workers, I boldly declared that “Every Texan is essential” and I stood strong to defend the liberties and livelihoods of all Texans. No lockdowns. No business closures. No mask mandates. No vaccine mandates. My response to COVID-19 was measured, thoughtful, strategic – and effective.

The results are clear. Today Collin County is arguably the healthiest, safest, and strongest county in Texas. And after eleven consecutive years of property tax rate decreases, Collin County has the #1 lowest county property tax rate of all 254 Texas counties and the county leads the way across the State of Texas in economic opportunity and county government efficiency. That’s why our campaign has received over 3,700 endorsements!
